On January 22, 2011, officers from the Denver Police Department responded to an apartment located in the 600 block of 26th Street on the report of shots fired. Officers found Marvin Smith who had suffered a gunshot wound. The person(s) responsible for the death of Marvin Smith have yet to be identified.
