Danice Lea Day, 19, grew up in Laramie, Wyoming. Her mother and father were divorced. Danice had issues with drugs while living in Wyoming. When the teenager got pregnant with her first child, Joshua, her dad and step-mom, Rod & Judy Day, brought her to Colorado. Danice graduated from Delta School in Monte Vista. She was good at art and computer graphics. Rod describes Danice as “very artistic, very talented.” She also had a daughter, Kaylie, by Victor Braun with whom she lived off and on for two years. There were domestic violence issues in their relationship. On January 9, 2002, witnesses say she was going back to her own apartment. She was last seen with Victor Braun. But he says she left with persons unknown. Her dad says she did not take her cell phone, purse or any personal items with her which he deemed “very unusual.” Danice has not been seen since that date. Her father fears she has been murdered. If you have information about what happened to Danice Day, please call investigator Shawn Woods at 719-589-3715. There is a reward of $5000 being offered by the Carol Send/Carrington Organization.
