On January 12, 1973, Colorado Springs Police Department officers found McKinley Collins in his residence on Fountain Blvd. Mr. Collins died of a gunshot wound. He was described as a well known and friendly man in the neighborhood. Many witnesses and possible suspects were interviewed. As of this date the case remains unsolved.
