Members of the Denver Police Department responded to the apartment complex located at 1660 Gaylord Street to provide assistance to paramedics that were on the scene investigating a reported DOA. Upon arrival, officers determined that the victim, subsequently identified as thirty-two year old Stannard Chappelle had been shot to death. The suspect(s) responsible for the murder of Stannard Chappelle have yet to be identified.
