On December 23, 2009, 43 year old Greg Carter, was treated at the Memorial Hospital Emergency Room and was believed to have been assaulted and had sustained life threatening injuries. The physician who was treating Mr. Carter believed he was beaten with a glass bottle because he had removed a small piece of glass from Mr. Carters scalp.
