Patrick Sanchez was attentive and loving of his three daughters and son. He would rearrange his schedule around their needs. Patrick taught his two brothers how to swim, play baseball and box.
Patrick cared for his fellow man. He would let people who were down and out stay with him until they could get on their feet. His brother, Randy, believes his generosity may have been his downfall.
On September 20, 1991, Patrick was found dead in his apartment at 2728 W. 24th Ave. with the gas stove on. He had been strangled and, it is believed, this murder was made to look like a suicide.
