Carlos R. Luna, 23, attended Holy Family High School. He took off a week every year to go fishing. Carlos liked to camp out. He also enjoyed watching football and wrestling.
Carlos worked as a janitor at several nursing homes and fixed car bodies. He had a dog named Jeremiah which was very protective of Carlos.
On May 21, 1992 Carlos was at his home near 13th & Tennyson in Denver. There was a loud party across the street. Carlos hollered for them to turn the music down. People from the party drove by Carlos and they had words. Then these people drove by a second time and shot Carlos from the car.
Despite the fact that there were witnesses to this crime, no one has ever been arrested.
Carlos is survived by his parents, Jeff & Theresa Wise of Lakewood, a son, Enrico, of Florida and a brother, Ron Gonzales.
