John Curtis Patterson, 20, was in Colorado because he loved skiing. He had dropped out of college (Ohio U) when his mother passed away in the Spring of 1975 and came to Colorado. John was at work in the convenience store in the Cascade Gas Station, 4501 N. Broadway, Boulder on September 29, 1975 when he was stabbed in an apparent robbery..
